Probably not - remember, the student-athletes dumb down the general student population. So they might be thinking, if we have the business school work on athletic marketing type projects, the athlete might rub off on the student and begin to infect the marketing students - making them dumber. Or worse - making them want to actually attend sporting events.

Bidding on most of the white jerseys ends tomorrow night. Only eight of them have received any bids at all, with only two of those receiving multiple bids. (Deadline on a couple of the jerseys runs four weeks longer for some reason.)

Best part of game yesterday was announcement of the Beckwith Foundation golf tournament coming up. Early May? Can’t recall.

Guest speakers r John Beilein and Gene Steratore, the nfl tv rules analyst and former NFL ref. He was hs teammates w Beck up in Pittsburgh area. Interesting connection.

Ungerer said he had Beilein Scott Kaufman & Rick Houston in his foursome.

Funny they never invite Wainwright to these things.

We do have a Marketing department and they have absolutely nothing to do with Athletics or sports event marketing.
