I'm admittedly very prejudiced because I was (am?) a fraternity brother with his dad and he was one of my roommates my junior year but wow, what a game. A pick-6 and 12 tackles. If he isn't starting I sure hope he gets a lot more PT.

May be the only Spider to have a pick-6 and a goal in lacrosse on his resume for many, many years!

His pop was a great Hardyball QB and intramural basketball player on teams that won intramural championships in both sports his junior and senior years.

Whit also had a full head of hair and he was in SBA with me. Hardy Ball, those were the
days. Wonder if that is still played at UR?

It was an impressive performance by Madison. I watched him throughout his high school career at Midlothian. My son played with Madison on a Midlothian team in 2013 that actually had a winning record and came close to the playoffs under the older, tougher system. Madison is a tremendous versatile athlete. He is doing for the Spiders now what he did for Midlo in high school.

The VMI game was somewhat of a "Midlothian Day"......no pun intended......enjoyed watching Madison come in for Midlo grad Omar Howard and seeing another Midlo Trojan, Taylor Stout make some nice runs for the Keydets.
