Who teaches our guys to leap like bullfrogs into the stands every time an opponent receives a pass beyond the three point line. A simple head fake and its either an open three or a free lane to the basket. Almost always an easy bucket. Why oh why do we keep that strategy going?

We are 30-8 the past 2 years. Maybe we are doing more right than you think?

Really? Which run? I'm referring to the run that saw our lead from 20 to 6. The run where Norris hit about 4 3s. A timeout is used in those situations to stop the opponents momentum and rhythm. Is it guaranteed to work? No. But it does work and is better than doing nothing.

4700 detailed this very well and I don't want that to go unnoticed. we didn't go from 20 to 6 without stoppages. if timeouts work to stop momentum and strategize, that should have stopped the run in it's tracks. it didn't.

and there were stoppages while we built up our 20 point lead. why didn't that stop us?

It seems Mooney wants to let the experienced squad roll but sometimes he needs to take control, call a timeout, and draw up a play when we are losing momentum.

when's the last time you saw any coach drawing up a play in a timeout? if you're drawing up a new play in a timeout, you've done a poor job preparing your team.

No, only timeouts your coach calls stop runs, timeouts called by refs don’t work, because coaches ignore players during tv timeouts. 🤣
