Looking ahead...

enjoyed your column, the analysis and the entertaining question posed...think I'd tend to agree with your conclusion...I certainly hope it's right...it makes Saturday's game even more important...

but you know what?...college football isn't always as logical and predictable as the pros...think Stony Brook...think how poorly the Indians are playing now, but how riled up they'll be on November 19...but it's almost always entertaining...

just hope we don't fall into any more of the anomalies...

Go Spiders!

Very interesting 05. I think Albany is the weakest of the 4 teams and they have the toughest schedule, not great news for them. Nova and JMU are scary due to their strong running games. That is so crucial coming down the stretch, its hard to win through the air continually.

Once again, another well done article.

I agree with your assessment as well. It provides a great perspective even though we are only halfway through the season.
I'm hoping that SpiderFan26 is wrong in thinking that Albany is the weakest of the 4 teams, but hard to refute that at this point. I'll feel a lot better if we can get a "W" this coming weekend.
It's interesting that JMU must play @UR and @Villanova on consecutive weekends.

I'm sure the Barneys and Wildcats (Nova) will be dancing in the streets when they get news of our injury situation
