6-1 Richmond ranked 18th by Nike/Lacrosse Magazine's Division I Men's Top 20.
As to our next three opponents, UNC is ranked 14th, High Point 19th and Virginia falls to "Also Considered" after losing to Cornell 9-14.
Duke remains ranked at 9th after pasting #8 Loyola (Md).

Also ranked 18th by NCAA Div1 Men's Lacrosse Poll. UNC ranked 17th, High Point and Virginia not ranked, but 4th and 9th at "Also Receiving Votes."

Whoever thought that we would beat Duke at #9 and be ranked ahead of perennial lacrosse powerhouse Virginia in just our 3rd year of Div1? I realize that there is a long way to go with this season, but Chemotti and crew have done one heck of a job.
I am sure that we are all hoping that we can maintain our ranking or rise higher.
Next three games will collectively be large indicator of whether we are a true Top 20 team this year.

Our next opponent, UNC,[Sat. Mar. 19 @ 7:00 p.m. (ESPN3)], batters struggling Manhattan 18-2.
Manhattan (1-7) has allowed all but one opponent (Delaware, 3-5) to score 15 plus goals.
