Now say "Chris Mooney is a very good coach" three times. Your indoctrination will be complete. Our “non star” players are pretty darn good.
So are the bad guys. Up 26 on the Bonnies. The good guys are tuning up for Dayton.
Sloppy play at the end.
Looked like a bad call to meIf anybody sees a video of the Wojcik crossover 3 that they called a foul on, please post it on here. I thought it was a bogus call but didn’t have a great angle to see it live. Woj had him on skates
73, Agree - I didn't catch first half but at the end of the game I was saying get Gilyard out of there. Seemed like a recipe for disaster and he is a guy that we definitely need fresh legs for the next two games.Spiders came out playing a physical game and took LaSalle out of their game early. Very good defense by Richmond. Burton is special and is getting more confident every game. Getting more minutes with Francis out and big lead. Sloppiness was mostly a function of the lead and lots of playing time for bench. Baffling to me - all of the starters played limited time except Gilyard. A key player we cannot afford to lose. He played 40 minutes last game and 37 in this one. He should have been on the bench half of the game with Dayton coming up. I think his 4 turnovers and missed free throws were due to fatigue.
had his hand on the defenders hip. barely pushed if at all. but that was the call.If anybody sees a video of the Wojcik crossover 3 that they called a foul on, please post it on here. I thought it was a bogus call but didn’t have a great angle to see it live. Woj had him on skates
we're not. a lot of teams do this. usually to get into a press and get their big men back. plus to protect against big man fouls which are more common than offensive rebounds on a missed free throw. Why are we the only team in basketball history that puts its shortest players on the lane when we are shooting free throws? What am I missing?
Thanks for the explanation. I recognize the intent of getting your bigs back, I don’t think we press often enough to explain that aspect but I hadn’t considered the frequency in fouling. That makes more sense especially since we are shooting far better this year.we're not. a lot of teams do this. usually to get into a press and get their big men back. plus to protect against big man fouls which are more common than offensive rebounds on a missed free throw.
