A little different in that we didn't really have 3 QBs available at the time we needed them. When Kyle went down and Broadus gone our best option was KJ and he volunteered (losing a season of eligibility in the process). Now if Mancusso is of starter quality we again have options. I don't believe Mancusso threw a pass yesterday, did he? Hard to blame Coach for not passing, didn't want to continue to run up the score, but it would have been good to see what Mancusso could do.

Correct. Imho, they should have turned Mancuso loose and let him run the offense. They should expect Lauletta to miss time and plan for it accordingly. When was the last time UR went the entire season without an injury to its starting QB? Lauletta has missed significant playing time the last 2 years.

I think it was a classy move with the run only mentality. It also was a point
of emphasis with the OL last week so great execution from practice. I was
amazed Howard did not place more in box, knowing what we were doing.

I suspect our QB and receivers had a lot to do with that.

KJ is really good but Mancuso is going to really push him next year, guys.

Wouldn't want it any other way. The competition will make them both better.
