I mean we are shooting 60%, have fewer turnovers than they do, more steals than they do and we are not only not leading, we are barely hanging in the game. The defense (combined with rebounding) is astoundingly bad. Astoundingly. And if DT (our defensive stopper) stands straight up and down one more time while someone goes by him I may shatter my TV. He stands up every single time his guy makes a pace and many many times when he 's standing 3 feet from his guy. Its just so fundamentally awful!!

I think every guy is slow to move and react. Its easy to see. Defense is reactive and our guys are not reactive. Watch how fast jones is with the ball and then watch him move reacting to a guy driving on him. Slow!!

Nothing has happened to us on defense. With the exception of a few games this year, tonight fits what we've seen most of the year. The pattern continues. Wade knows how to coach, & his Robbins Center strategy is working like a charm down on Broad St.

I don't share some of the thoughts about TA. He has been shut down on offense, and he needs to pass the ball to teammates, he is still helping with rebounds, steals, and assists. I'm surprised that we still in game, because like every CM team, we are soft. VCU physically dominates us, nothing unusual about that. I'd expect VCU to win by double digits, but we're not really down all that much. I have no idea, how this team doesn't notice that Tillman can stand under the basket, undefended. I mean he's not a little guy, how do you miss him?

I'm very sorry for our seniors, this is not the way, any of us wanted them to close out their Spider career.
