Sometimes they don't.

"What's the use of worrying?
It never was worthwhile,
So, pack up your troubles in your old kit bag,
And smile, smile, smile." - George Asaf; Lyrics Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit-Bag, 1915

They played very well. Jumped on them early and stayed on it. Kyle and the offense were flawless. Kicking and secondary still scare me but the front 6 played great. Fun to watch today.

Wow never expected this? UNLV and Kent State must be the worst teams in the FBS. Spider's played great, only complaint was kick off coverage. I was glad to see Johnson not play indicates they may be considering red shirt.

Solid all around effort. Great job running the ball on O and I liked the play calling today.

Great job on D to sell out on the running back. Dale Matthews was all over the place. Huge game for #22.

Glad some of the young guys were able to get some heavy reps too.

Fun afternoon at RS. Great first home game for Huesmann. Love that so many walk-ons could get meaningful snaps.

So many things went right today, including the weather. All started with the lines. Hopefully we got out of there without any injuries and can have another great week next week.

Kyle was great as usual but my game ball goes to both lines. If they continue to play like they did today, we will be really hard to beat.

Is Jay Palmer starting to look A little bit like Kendall Gaskins to anybody else? 27 is really coming along.

Agree - Palmer sticks his foot in the ground and goes. We seem to be figuring out the RB rotation a little. Good to be able to rotate in fresh guys.

Team executed well today , O and D, to say the least, but the coaching was superb! Shout out to RH and the assistants. They nailed it on both O and D preparation. Bodes well for the future.

It will be interesting to see who the top 8 are by the time the playoffs come around.
Maybe a couple CAA, 2 maybe 3 MVFC.
Outside of Sammy who outside of those conferences looks top 8 right now?

Who got the game ball yesterday? Pregame Huesmann said he wanted to give it to a special teams player. jones blocked FG was a huge play but assume KL got it for his amazing game

Great to see so many players get on the field yesterday. The execution on offense and defense was excellent, but still shaky on some special teams. I feel bad for the players that a lot is made of another "sell out", but stadium seemed like it was 2/3 full (maybe).
