Who among Spider Faithful pencil this game in as our defining moment playing our former coach. London want this game for many reasons. He has always been crafty in career moves. Although I know he does not read this forum but he has been blamed for almost everything bad when he left the program except Ms. Irma.

This game is our home opener. I sure hope the coaches and players are up for this challenge. I am.

Don't look now, but Howard up on Kent State late in the 3rd...looks like the Spiders could be in for another war next Saturday at The Brick House...amazing!

Stats seem to say they don't pass the ball much, but run well. Our run D will be tested. Looks like both opponents they had thus far were running teams, we'll get to test their pass D.

What does the weather look like this weekend? Are there any lingering effects from Irma that may impact the game. We should have a good week to prepare for Mike London and the Howard Bison...This is our first true practice week prior to our next game.....Go Spiders!!!!

Howard Stern is coming to campus!!!!!! He's a hoot, leave the kids at home.

What they have done so far is almost unbelievable really. They were awful in an awful conference last year. One of their only wins (and they barely won) was against Del. St. who was winless against an awful schedule last year. They took two buy games against D1 teams and very nearly won both! UNLV proved they are not totally awful by winning last week against Idaho 44-3. Kent is harder to say since their other game was a mauling at Clemson.

But it seems they have come awfully far, awfully fast!

What does Vegas know that I'm not seeing? Spiders giving 27. O/U 60.5. Wow.

The line is ridiculous. The total seems ok. But that implies a game like 44-17. While I can hope, I don't see this one being that easy.

Didn't they make a similiarly ridicules line in the Colgate game? Obvously we they didn't watch the game. This will be a very difficult game for the Spiders.

thanks for posting this 32...it was a great reminder for me of why I respected Coach London and always thought he was a great leader for our football program and spokesman for our University...it doesn't sound like his perspective has changed too much despite the UVA disaster...

like many, I sometimes questioned his strategies and decisions on the field...they probably weren't his strong point, but he did deliver our only National Championship...

I wish his exit had been a little cleaner, but I have no idea what it's like to have UVA money and ACC/BCS prestige on the table...most of us have no idea what we would have done...

I look forward to welcoming him to The Brick House for the first time and hoping we can handle his Bison...they are going to be a hand full...

Defense showed up today. Running fast to the ball. Offense clicking.

Now down to the kids area. Love that they removed the stands so I can watch the game still.

The spiders got an INT and the score is now 34-0. So far, Richmond is clicking on all cylinders.
Team looks fantastic. Howard not so much. I hope the bench gets emptied early and often in the second half.
never seen Lauletta look better.
