Putin decides to attack Norway and Finland? And will Trump honor Article 5 of NATO accord?

Yes, Finland and Sweden joined NATO during the Biden Administration. Biden, unlike Trump, looked to strengthen our NATO alliance while Trump has said he would consider invading Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark, a NATO member.
I knew they agree to, didn’t know if the process was complete.

Did Finland and Sweden join NATO bc of Biden or bc of the naked aggression by Russia against Ukraine?

Don't believe Biden personally had much to do with anything that occurred during his Admin other than the early on Afghan withdrawal. Eyes told folks that Worldwide (except US legacy "media") and now the bare all books from insiders confirm what all saw.

no answers to my original questions?
Of course he will. Shouldn't have to 80 years after WWII, but the Europeans are unwilling to take care of themselves, particularly as long as the US will do it for them. When push comes to shove, US will be there regardless of Prez.

Ukraine is a European war same as a war in Norway and/or Finland. The Europeans should take care of that primarily on their own. US should be the closer in the bullpen, not team manager.

But not realistic as long as we permit them to scrimp on their own defense.

Did I say they joined because of Biden? Certainly not just because of him, and certainly the Russian invasion scared them. But the Biden administration played a significant role in convincing the NATO countries to accept the new members. Turkey, in particular, had objections to Sweden joining NATO.

And of course you think Biden had nothing to do with anything except what you consider to be a disaster, you always talk about hatred, your hatred of Biden is once again showing.

Don't hate Biden or anyone else. Hatred is a most toxic emotion.

He was incompetent and his policies caused great harm to our republic. Follow the facts. Call them like I see them.

Yet when Trump critics call him out as incompetent and say his policies are causing great harm to our country, you claim its hatred. Strange.

I respectfully disagree. NATO is an amalgamation of smaller independent nations that individually do not act alone. If Germany does not want to act, who will lead them? For the first year after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Germany was hamstrung by its pascifist defense minister, who only sent bankets and helmets to Ukraine. It took Germany 2 years to adapt. The same with France.

US is the indispensable force for stability and freedom in Europe and throughout the world. We have been for more than 100 years.

Trump was right to push Europe, but he must lead.

So, when will he attack, and what will Trump do?
We need leadership that only the US can provide. Trump must stand firm against Russian hegemony in Europe. One Biden's chief failures was his inability (literally) to articulate and establish a policy to stop Russia.

According to the Wall Street Journal, it depends on what Trump will do to stop Russia in Ukraine.

"Ukraine will soon confront weapons shortages that make it more vulnerable to a Russian breakthrough. That’s especially true for air defenses, including U.S.-made Patriot missile interceptors. Ukraine has been able to block most of Mr. Putin’s recent barrages of drones and missiles. But as its defenses wane, Ukraine will have to choose between defending its civilians in cities or its forces on the front lines. Mr. Trump is worried about needless deaths, and rightly so. Those deaths will increase if he fails to rearm Ukraine.

Mr. Trump has mused about leaving the two countries to fight it out. But walking away won’t insulate America from the consequences. If Ukraine succumbs, Mr. Putin will advance his forces closer to more of the NATO border. As important, Mr. Trump will send a message to Chinese President Xi Jinping that the U.S. can’t sustain support for an ally under siege."

Winston Churchill on American's in a crisis.

"You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else," reflects his view of America's eventual yet sometimes drawn-out approach to tackling challenges.

We have tried every thing else. Now its time to do the right thing.
