Thoughts on the game today? I’m guessing we lose; last game we shot lights out, so seems like we are due for a poor offensive outing. GW +6.5 seems like easy money. I hope the guys can get a win streak going though.

It would be nice to win this one having to face the Lambs at their domicile this Wednesday.
Stadium was actually pretty full. Of course some seats were also given to more local schools “scholastic stars”

It seems if we shoot 13-18 from three and win the rebounding battle 26-12 every game, we may win a few of them.
Was in attendance tonight...calling it pretty full is just a sign that folks has forgotten what a capacity crowd sounds like. It was a fun game but the whole atmosphere is kind of sad. And GW is just a terrible team. Glad we took care of business tonight.

We needed the Varina band badly. The little singers from Midlothian did a wonderful job singing the anthem. Baby race was over is record time.

Gilyard’s pass anticipation is uncanny. He seems to be everywhere and is certainly disruptive to opposing teams.

Well, I'd say anytime we hold the opponent to 14 rebounds or whatever it was and we make 13 of our first 18 threes, we probably will win. How often those things happen together seems slightly uncertain.
The Richmond BB post game said the POG was Golden. Ha. But these are the same folks that announced the game start time as 7pm.

The team played great today! We look more comfortable out there and I’m glad to see Sal making an impact in the game. Gilyard is really, really good. He has to be A10 player of the week. I’m hoping the team has found a new level of confidence heading into the last stretch of our schedule. Would love to go to VCU, beat them, and take away any chance they have at an at-large bid.

First off, congrats to the team on a much needed blowout win. The ball was being moved crisply and it looked like the whole team was dialed in and having fun playing basketball for the first time all season. BUT...@DTSpider is correct. These are the classic mid-season A-10 wins against the bottom of the league that folks start seeing “improvement” and “we’re not that far from competing with the top of the league”. We’ll see how we play at VCU and if this winning streak can provide momentum down the stretch and into the A-10 tournament.
Wow...we got national coverage. This is where our program is and the only reason we got a mention is that Goodman was on a mission to comment on every game played yesterday.
This is it for me in a nutshell! Mooney's could could beat 5 straight patsies but if poor performance against those guys and all progress is lost.
