UR wins 46-24. Great game Spids. First ever playoff game at the brickhouse. On to Coastal.

Not perfect, but Spiders were good enough today. Style points don't matter anymore. It's about some how getting the W and moving on. Nice job, Spiders!

It wasn't pretty the whole way but we got the job done and we got some guys rested late. We didn't appear to sustain any major injuries, depending on #1, who I think is ok.

Bring on the Teal Chickens.

Spidervol, I was not trying to throw it in your face. That's just the defense we prefer to play. Every year we see the same complaints. First priority is to stop the run and make the opponent one dimensional. Today our opponent Morgan State really prefers to run the ball. We had to take that away. We can play a different defense and play the pass but I can't imagine this place if we got run on. Plus we play what fits our talent. They bring in Holmes some for Howard in obvious passing downs. Roane is really our best OLBer. However we are better with him inside and Howard outside than vice versa. Less reads for Howard and he can use his speed in space.

Nice try Putt in defending the defense. They did run on us as well as pass. Our offense was simply superior. A change in coaching on the defensive side of the ball is clearly needed.

Hard to feel bad after today. Great showing by the offense. Loved that Broadus came in when we wanted to run. defense did enough and got some turnovers. Their #3 was very impressive and thought we slowed him down ok.

We played the 2nd team defense for much of the 4th quarter.

Coach Rocco threw a lot of wrinkles into the offense today. The team played really well.

72, just sharing with you guys the intentions.mif you are upset with it that's your business. The defense has some holes. The coaches do the best they can to develop a plan to win the game, stopping the opponents strength and minimizing our weaknesses. It worked. We won. On to round 2.
