he's typically been a non-shooter from outside. with Jacob off and Nathan another non-shooter ... we have problems. but he looked good last night. I think you ride him to see if he's really straightened out the jumper.

As @spiderman pointed out, Goose is starting to turn the corner so that means more time for the Senior player. It is just what Mooney does - as the situation gets tighter the more his sticks with the familiar. It is going to be interesting to see if this year’s Senior class all take the extra year or not. It seems like the only one Mooney has to have is Matt. What happens with the other two will tell the story.

No worries dad! I will say that you appear to have amazing restraint and take a great approach to the boards. I’m sure it’s not easy. We’ve had some past family members of players on here which have been disasters. I hope that Dji has a great Richmond experience and that you’re on the boards for many years.
🙏 Sometimes I should take my own advice...but instead of listening to the coach in me the dad in me takes over sometimes. I'm a work in progress and I'm trying to dive deeper in my faith to help with some of the frustrations not the twitta😃. I was able to have a convo with coaches yesterday afternoon and feel somewhat better(in terms of me venting my frustrations) I think it weighs on us more so than Dji. At the end of the day he loves it here and we do too. Loyalty is not a bad thing, Dji will be an Jr technically next season if track record holds he should be given the same courtesy as the veterans & with 3 yrs of elegibility left. 🕷️🏀

I don't know but I heard if he is on his best behavior Mooney is going to try to remember to give him his keyboard back.
Hopefully that guy is OK in real life, and just left the board to stay away from us jerks
just my opinion, but I don't think loyalty explains Mooney playing Goose if that's who we're talking about. he actually wasn't getting much time. he did this game because he played really well.

Tend to agree, s-man. Mooney had had a pretty quick hook with Goose his whole career here, so I'm not sure that he's just playing him because he's been here awhile. For all of Nick's defensive issues, he needs to get 15+ and 6-10 shots a game.
