They've really run through some pretty good coaches the last 10-15 years there, and none of them have been able to do much other than develop good talent that transfers away immediately. They need to leave the league.
I agree. They have been in the A10 for 25 years and only have been above .500 in conference play twice. Most recently 14 years ago. Not sure what either the A10 or Fordham gets out of their membership, they need to go somewhere where they have a chance of being competitive.
They really acted a couple weeks too late, should have hired Pitino, that would have been some juice.
Agree with EightL and 2011 that they don't belong in the A10 mainly because of their continual subpar performances year after year. And that RH Gym they play in doesn't help. Just looked up that it's the oldest on-campus facility used primarily for D-1 b-ball in the country. Equals their Kenny OOC schedule ranking this season, 353. 
What are they really getting out of the A10? They're good enough at football most years, but we don't have it in the A10 anyway. I guess they've been decent at some other Olympic sports but none that drive revenue. A10 basketball hasn't exactly been producing massive payouts in NCAA tournament units recently, so they're not cashing checks from that. It seems to be pointless for them to stay.
Have to cut them some slack - after all the man who our basketball court is named after is a Fordham grad and current basketball player Jordan Gaitley's mother is Fordham women's basketball coach as well as having an impressive record in her six years as head women's coach at Richmond..............
