Football season approaching!

No activity on here and we got the spring game tomorrow. I guesss everyone is too caught up in the basketball board. Why don't we talk about our most successful athletic program more and get fired up about the really good things that are happening under Russ Huesman!

We have a D1 National Championship in Football. Not going to happen in Basketball.

We put football players in the NFL with regularity, in the NBA - next to never, but to hear some of our bb fans we play "Pee Wee" football. Basketball is our "signature" sport while football at the FCS level is viewed as second rate. I don't get it, but I can't get my head around a lot things on the basketball board.

I haven't paid that much attention possibly. Nut I haven't heard any of our fans say this. Most people I know are fans of both our football AND basketball teams. Not sure why we sometimes try to divide the fanbase in ways like this.

Whoa Nelly! 05, I would never promote disunity among Spider fans, but I assure you belittling comments about FCS football have been posted on several occasions. Those posters would be the dividers.
