Used to be would pull for the Spiders and whoever was playing VCU. Not so much anymore. Apathetic. We need to move back into rivalry status with them for the second part to mean anything. Have a grudging respect for them.

Agreed, VCU losing is always a good thing. That does not distract any of us from knowing that are own house is a absolute mess with a lot of trash that will hopefully get cleared out at the end of the season.

Would not ever pull for them to win. However ignoring them is best strategy. Paying them any attention in any way serves as a reminder of how poorly we play against them. But although hard to think of them as a rival since they dominate us, maybe they are a rival if you follow this definition of rival along with our coach's words ...
