But about half as many as before. Wish they would come back to AGS. I don't remember what caused the split.

Yeah, CSD started as a defection from AGS because some of the people didn't like how AGS was being run, moderation in particular. The forum at CSD is ok, but they haven't had the resources to do anything with the rest of the site. I too wish they'd just fold and come back to AGS...the community is better served by having one place for discussion.

As I said, I don't know, but I though the problem was with Ralph, the founder of AGS and he hasn't been in charge for a while.

I just tried to register on AGS but it said new registration is closed. Never seen that before on an active board.

I don't know how it works, could it be that a moderator has to be on line at the time of your registration? I agree odd!

I know they temporarily closed registration a couple times in the past when spam got really bad. Not sure if that's what's going on now. Even if it is, that's a terrible way to deal with spammers.

I sent the mod a message.

At first I thought maybe were trying to register to vote in the poll. That is usually only open May to August.

Heard from the Mod. Yes it is closed during the season since they were being overwhelmed by spam.

A current member has to send the Mod your email address to become a member during the season.
