I don't root for VCU, ever. That could change someday.

But I'm also not stupid enough to say "No REAL Spider fan could EVER root for VCU."

In the end, numerous dropped passed doomed them.

The color guy made a good point. That decision by Houston not to run a play with 6 seconds left in the first half might really haunt him. They had plenty of time to run a play as long as Schor doesn't take a sack.

The lose a lot of guys, especially from the defense. Have to expect the defense will take a step back. Lose some key skill guys and some key linemen. Could be an upgrade at QB I have heard Cole Johnson is very talented. Also I think Cardin Johnson got a medical redshirt and will be back next year. jmu will still very good because I know they still have a wealth of talent that only our roster rivals within the CAA. Let's beat em next year!

In a nutshell, NDSU was just better than jmu. Play the game 10 times; NDSU wins 9.9 times.

Having lived in North Dakota for almost nine years directly after leaving UR, I'm A, thrilled that NDSU won again, and B, that they beat JMU to do it.

The whole state supports NDSU when it comes to the football playoffs (most UND fans, too), just as it does when UND's hockey team is going for another NCAA title.

I'd love for us to play a regular-season home-and-home with NDSU. I'd try to get to both games. Fargo is a nice city, and a lot nicer in September than in December, when UR last visited.
