UR released its current plan for the Fall semester and there are some very interesting elements to the plan.

1) Like many plans I have heard, there will be no Fall break and in-person classes will end before the week of Thanksgiving. Classes and finals will occur at students homes (online only).
2) In addition to in person classes ending, the plan says the students will MOVE OUT Thanksgiving week.
3) The plan also says that classes will be held every day of the week and that there will be day and evening classes.
4) There currently is not a plan for the Spring semester.

There are other interesting elements as well, but it sure looks like it is going to be much harder to schedule practice times and of course students won’t be on campus for any of the normal OOC portion of the basketball schedule. Then of course there is the chance that students may not be on campus for the Spring.

The plan says it will be a semester like no other and I must agree. Sure seems like the student athlete will be focusing on the student part unless there is a major change.

Probably more of an issue for football. But in reality - I would not worry too much about this. Basketball players and athletes in general miss classes for games - now they just need to miss class for practice.
Another solution would be to sign up for minimal classes. Maybe only take 9 credits - 3 classes (or less if you can) and just expect to make it up during the summer semesters (hopefully by then a vaccine is being rolled out and getting back to closer to normal).
What else I wonder is will schools cancel the lower end sport seasons and just focus on the major sports? Not only for money but also for safety. So for UR - would they consider cancelling one or two of these lower end sports (women's lacrosse, field hockey, track, etc) to save the the money as well as the hassle of trying to keep these athletes safe? Or if not UR - will other schools do this, and therefore makes the season difficult to complete with less teams?

This year is really interesting when it comes to classes and school in general. Now almost everything is online. Now I feel like I am learning stuff only from the internet. It is the same feeling like I am learning from YouTube. But the only problem that I have is the essays. I hate to write them. A lot of teachers, expect from us a lot of essays. And I mean a lot, in one day I had to make about 3 essays with 3000 words each. I couldn’t resist that. I have hired https://essaywriterservice.com/ to make my essays.
