The donation was made prior to Rocco's departure and he knew all about it. My understanding is that construction is slated to begin around this time next year.

Is the renovation part of the elevate campaign? In that it will look like what was posted online? I'm trying to gauge the timeline for getting the athletic village upgrades. Thanks for the info!

Yes and Yes. The timeline for the campaign is based on when the money is committed for the various projects. Pretty simple.

I received word that a large donation was committed for the football locker room this week. This person will have the football locker room named in their honor.

We all need to do more to step up.

If this was done before Rocco, then it certainly doesn't jive any more with the idea that he wasn't getting what he wanted. Buildings don't get built in a day. The commitment to them is what should have helped him see "the vision." I don't like that guy more and more every single day.

It was my understanding that the donation to have the locker room renovated was rendered during end-of-year meetings with Rocco -- well before his supposed "6:04pm Monday night" decision.

As we can see now, it didn't persuade him to stay. Oh well. Bye.
