Elon v UNH/G Webb /Wake/Towson highlights

Elon does not seem very physical or have a great deal of team speed.
They are terrible. they have had terrible recruiting years and sign no in-state talent. They have a long way to go. They will find the CAA tough sledding for a few years.

They were mid to upper tier in the SoCon for a number of years immediately prior to joining the CAA.Pete Lembo(Ball State now)had some good teams while he was the HC there(35-22 between 2006-10).Adjusting to the CAA rigors ain't gonna be easy.If you know the X's and O's but don't have the Jonnies and Joes you get into trouble.

That was when Scott Riddle from Eastern Randolph was the QB and Terry Hudgens was the stud WR, who was in the Cowboys camp after college. Those guys are long gone and the old HC Jason Swepson and his staff recruited very poorly.

Both the guys were a strike force any time they touched the ball.At our level,Hudgens was a man among boys and Riddle could zip the ball with accuracy anywhere on the field. Both were extremely tough to defend.

I remember them giving us a big scare in the playoffs back in 2009. They missed a couple of field goals (including a chip-shot one) in the closing minutes trying to tie the game up. Riddle and Hudgins were a potent combo.

We played them again early in 2010 when they were ranked highly and we were wondering how the London-Latrell transition was going to work out, and we knocked them off in OT.

Hudgins holds the the all-time Division I (FBS and FCS) records for career receptions and receiving yards.
