When we started the game, I thought UR looked flat. I wonder how much the allegations on campus affected this team? If you are wondering, see the off topic posts.

We stunk plain and simple.Believe we've been reading our own headlines.I sensed we weren't ready from the get go.
Almost too casual. No emotion. The running backs for SBU seemed to find easy running lanes inside and to the edge outside.Jet sweeps were successful all day.Cutback speed caused us to be flatfooted.
Some bad play calling when they loaded the box on 3rd and shorts.
The 96yd kickoff return beginning the 2nd half was a back breaker.
No pooch kickoffs hurt us .Lauletta's inaccurate passing and 3 drive killing picks was not pretty.Bad decisions. He was not hurried on those throws.Center snaps to Lauletta in spread constantly directed at his ankles which he often had to reach for which could have disrupted his timing.Even little things weren't working.Brian Brown was terrific yesterday. One bright spot.He made Lauletta look good with some of the catches he made.We couldn't run when we needed to run.

SBU played bigger, faster, tougher, hungrier than we did. They were prepared. We showed up and were not.

Nice stadium.Functional and no track made the game seem very close for the fan experience. An experience my CT friends and I would rather forget.

a team typically is not going to play at a high level like at uva each and every game and when they don't, they can be kicked to the side of the road like today.

Speaking of UVA, did their end of game management get worse this season?
