Dayton Chokes

Good for RPI. Just goes to show how close we are and how close 6 or 7 teams in this league are. It will make it that much sweeter when we take from them next year. Until then, we are going to hear more schiit than any of us want.

Now that VCU won the A10 Tournament, I guess UR fans will have to put up with the local media's claim that VCU is the real D1 basketball school in Richmond while UR is still viewed as "little brother" or being insignificant. Oh well.

Seal Training, my brother!
losing to you twice will minimize the trolling, (IMHO)

Some of my Spider brothers notwithstanding, I want to give out congratulations to our crosstown rival. They deserved the title and should be commended for coming through when it counted. We beat them twice during the season, but they won 4 time in 4 days and deserve the accolades. Hope they do great in the NCAA tournament.

Congrats to the downtown thugs. Hope they lose all games until the end of time.

I agree with PhiDelt, anything good for the league is good for us. Sure in the short term it is better for them, but we all win in the end.

I hope they go down hard. And EP, it sure didn't stop you. I'm not sure what that says.

Ulla. I agree!!!!!!! A-10 will play a total of 3 games in the NCAA this year.

Always like to see them lose since the final four run, didn't really care before but I've never been for bandwagoning. Credit where it's due, they earned it (I just threw up in my mouth a little bit). I don't expect much trolling unless they advance far into the tournament because now half their fan base is starting to pay attention. It's not like they can come on here and brag that they own us. We took them two of three and if it weren't for lights out shooting and 15 more trips to then us at the charity stripe with a non existent inside game it would be us cutting down the nets.

Where is our team and fan party for the selections? I want to be on TV when we get surprised!!!

Dayton being an 11 play in game shows how week they think the A-10 is this year.

Think committee dropped Dayton down because of the players lost to team. They only play 6-7.

I'd take Dayton's draw over the other A10 teams. Home game, then Providence down the road in Columbus.

Agree, MM. Location can trump having to travel cross country. But having to play games every couple of days is tough, particularly when you've got a short bench.

Dayton is a 3.5 point favorite in the play in game

Davidson is a 1.5 point dog, and VCU is a 2.5 point dog, even though they're the higher seed.
