i think i would demand better defense from all older players but maybe they CAN NOT play better defense at all ??
THEN they as sure hell better start making layups and shots from 4 feet .... And enough of that fade away junk I see all the time too..... weak body weak mind STRONG BODY STRONG MIND...but I think it is tough to coach same players 6 years in a row and be tough challenging them to play different. this year was unique opportunity for these players and they will have regrets about how they played for sure when they think back when they are old like me.

I really think these guys have the ability. I just think it's what has and what hasn't been drilled into them. Defense is not a Mooney priority, and I challenge anyone to argue the opposite. 17 years tells me this.

To be fair, CMs defense was really good for about 4-5 years, but he seemed to have guys who could execute the switches and generally were pretty long, unlike the short guard lineups these days.

So maybe 12 years of mediocre to sucky D.

Yep, once other teams, especially those in the A10 figured it out, Mooney would not adapt. Common theme with mooniocrity. Until hardt woke up and called him in his office. Unbelievable.

Does it shock anyone at this point that they guy who had already hit 7 3's was left open to hit the final kill shot against us. No, of course it doesn't. It is what we do. I saw this phrase of Twitter after the Davidson game that I think really exemplifies are program, they called us "Expert Level Losers". Perfect summation of our program and everything about it. We have perfected the art of losing.
