DJ broke the schools single season record with his 9th INT today. Jeff Nixon was way before my time, but anytime you break a record like that its a big deal. Rogers 2008 season with 7 picks was impressive, but 4 in one game against Albany and the 100+ yd return today are special moments. Congrats to the newly appointed captain

Told my daughter to remember that 100+ yard return as personally had never seen one that long in person in my lifetime. OSC

I'm not sure why the NCAA won't recognize a return over 100 yards, but it goes down as a 100 yard return. I replayed it and he first got the ball right in the middle of the end zone, making it 105 yards unofficially. And even though the NCAA won't list it as a 105 yarder, I see no reason why it can't go down in the school record book as 105 yards.

And let's not forget that his 50 yard punt return got us off to a fast start, and we never looked back. As an added bonus, he also let the team in tackles yesterday.

DJ reminds me so much of Jeff Nixon with his size, speed and how hard he hits.

David Jones appears to have more speed than Jeff Nixon.Comparable weight but believe Jeff might be taller although David plays much taller than his listed 6'1".Had the pleasure to meet Jeff at the Walter Camp All American awards dinner in New Haven,CT when he was named 1st team All American
