Gilly's coordination and reaction time are off the charts. It is very impressive to rank in the top 10 in both of these categories. Gilyard led Division I in steals this season at 3.2 per game and also ranked 10th in the country in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.97)

.He is the seventh Spider to be named an All-State selection under Chris Mooney, joining Cline (2016-17), Kendall Anthony (2012, 2015), Cedrick Lindsay (2014), Kevin Anderson (2009-11), Justin Harper (2011), and David Gonzalvez (2010).

Well that's just ridiculous, how does a guy with the season he had not make 1st Team in Virginia? I could understand it if he was 2nd Team AA, but come on....

First team all A-10 on a 24 win team that was probably going to the NCAA, led the nation in steals and gets beat out by a guard who takes a billion shots from a sub-500 Hampton team. That is crap.
