College Gameday going to JMU vs UR

UR needs to do whatever it takes to get our students there. Gotta show some blue/red and Spider signs on TV in midst of the gold/purple.
I didn't believe it when I got a text today. Props to JMU for pulling this off. us too and we benefit as well. Cool to be part of it. The schedule worked as there are really not any big FBS games next weekend, Gameday has shown they will go to a FBS venue in past, and obviously a big rivalry game with two highly ranked teams. Also some connections with Gameday producer being JMU grad and our own UR grad Todd McShay. For those going...enjoy & bring home the W.
I'm sure they'll be talking about Madison 25% of the time, UR about 1% (oh, these are their opponents), and big programs the other 74%. I seriously doubt they'll mention us. It's all about putting JMU in a good light, instead of drunken riots.

Assume we get only 5 minutes of coverage in a 3 hour show -- how much would the University pay for 5 minutes of air time on national TV? Pretty good investment since it cost us nothing! I'll tape and watch it since I will not be able to make the trip.
During the broadcast the best looking helmet in the world will be viewed by the world. That is advertisement enough. Let us not forget we have some very smart students. Their signs should be classic. We will get exposure. When we win the game................. "We R UR"
Just watched College Football Live and Todd McShay was firing up the Richmond Football team for our game against JMU.
He also predicted us to be the 2045 College Football playoff champion with his Back to the Future prediction in the next 30 years!

this is great. i always hoped game day would come to UR but i'll take it. Glad we are playing our rivals for this game. really excited! go spiders!
Saw that too. But think about it, you would hate us also had you gone to JMU. We're everything they would like to be and then some. Heard a JMU alum say that this visit from Game Day is the single greatest thing to ever happen at their campus. For as cool as that is that's sad in a lot of ways. Go Spiders.
ESPN crew is doing a good job of spending time on our game. Actually, any more time would be too much given the audience.
