This new reg will destroy domestic auto manufacturers. But who cares, let's sacrifice everything for the benefit of climate warming caused (if it exists) by the Chi-coms, the Indians and the Russians.This will be the end of gas powered vehicles in the United States. You laugh... the Biden Administration is scrapping the current Abrams tank for a lighter tank with a hybrid engine. Sounds great- a lighter tank with a more fuel efficient engine.... However, from what I understand, the army is sacrificing armor and survivability for its new engine design. EVs and Hybrids by design are heavier engines, across all platforms, whether cars, trucks or tanks. Designers sacrifice weight in other areas of the vehicle to accomodate the new engine types.

And it could do the same to the U.S., which is following a similar path.
Nuclear power can save the energy crisis and help curb global warming. But who stands in their way? How many Nuclear power plant licenses have been granted in the past 12 years? Government regulations have all but shut down this segment of industry. The only accident that has ever occurred in the US (3 Mile Island) happened 45 years ago. I can only imagine safety technology has come a long ways since then. Yet libs only argument against nuclear power is concerns about safety.
