Nolan Henderson completed 18-of-27 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns as #19 Delaware (2-0, 2-0 CAA) defeated Stony Brook, 31-3. Henderson connected with Mateo Vandamia on a 21-yard scoring strike and also hit Thyrick Pitts with a 21-yard TD pass. Vandamia also picked up a fumble for a score. Pitts finished with a team-best six catches for 95 yards. For the second week in a row, the Blue Hens' defense was dominant, allowing just 272 total yards and a first-quarter field goal while forcing five turnovers. Andrew Pawlowski recorded a career-high nine tackles for Delaware and Dae'Lun Darien had an interception and fumble recovery.
Stony Brook quarterbacks Tyquell Fields and Josh Zamot combined to throw for 174 yards, with Malik Love making five receptions for 45 yards. Randy Pringle paced the Seawolves' defense with seven tackles. SBU fell to 0-2, 0-2 CAA.
Richmond 38, Elon 14

Richmond (2-0, 2-0 CAA) controlled the ball for nearly 42 minutes and earned a 38-14 road victory at Elon. Spiders' quarterback Joe Mancuso passed for 189 yards and 2 TD's and also ran for a score, and Aaron Dykes ran for a team-high 66 yards and a TD as UR piled up 395 yards of total offense. Defensively, the Spiders held Elon to 220 yards and intercepted three passes.
Richmond jumped out to a 14-0 first-quarter lead as Mancuso threw a 10-yard TD pass to Justin Jasper and then scored on a 1-yard run. Elon (1-3, 0-2 ) cut the deficit in half on a 25-yard TD pass from JR Martin to Jackson Parham, but the Spiders responded with 17 straight points to take control.
Tristan Wheeler had a team-high six tackles for Richmond and Xavier Marshall had five stops and an interception. For Elon, Bryce Graves recorded a game-high 15 tackles and 1.5 TFL and Omar Rogers added 12 tackles.
