Brown & Trau 1st Team,Craig 2nd team All Americans

We've gone from extra points being a 50/50 to an now an all american kicker. Plus UR has had some great receivers over the decades and Brown broke the records. Truly remarkable Congratulations.

Honestly, extra points were always an adventure. Now Grif is first team All American. OSC

Didn't Andrew Howard set or almost set an NCAA record for consecutive extra points or something?

Yeah, I found it. He made the first 121 PATs of his career before missing. But after that he missed a few big ones, including a pair against Villanova in a 21-20 loss when we were #1 in the country and they were #4.

Yeah even during the championship season the year before that Villanova game, he got inexplicably inconsistent. Wasn't it Radford that came in during the championship game to kick the field goal that we made?

Yeah, Radford kicked a few in the championship run. For as good as he was at extra points, Howard was only OK on field goals, and later in his career actually got pretty shaky on them.

Andrew also kicked a 53 yarder and who can forget the end-of-the-game 48 yarder to beat W&M? One of my all time favorite kicks as well as Bob Black audio clips.

Forgot to say congratulations to all three men, all well deserved. I'm hoping Kyle Lauletta at least got an honorable mention, and obviously we would have had a third first teamer had David Jones not gotten hurt.

I honestly thought I'd never see the day that we would have a first team All-American kicker. It goes without question he has earned a scholarship!

Andrew's 53 yarder was in the rain at Hofstra which made it even more remarkable. Also, we all know how important his last PAT in the 2008 Northern Iowa game was. It was good to see him at Homecoming this year.

That was then, this is now. Congratulations to Griffin Trau! Roll Spide! OSC
