Bring on W&M: The legacy of Mike London at Howard

Whatever you may think of his coaching, Mike London is very inspiring to young people and tries to built character. I imagine the new guy at Howard is quite the contrast if he's the drill sergeant type.

My sons flag football coach actually helps coach at Howard. He said this was coming. The new coach has run off a lot of players due to his personality and the way he treats the kids. This has nothing to do with ML.
 
I couldn’t care less.....the UR w&m game has lost it luster..
 
We haven't missed them yet. Odds are long, particularly after injuries, but it is not impossible.

This team has improved significantly since the first third of the season. If we don't beat ourselves by being sloppy and and the coaches give the right scheme to the defense, we can hang in most games with a possibility to win. Will need JMU turnovers this weekend though.

It ain't over til its over. Go Spiders!

The Peanut gang has been to Delaware and just got back from Villanova
We were six inches twice on two more touchdowns Saturday.The atmosphere has been Iike playoff runs again from years ago keep the faith and if you travel, come tailgate with us Saturday and brings a stone to help UR slay Goliath

If we had beaten lowly Fordham and Yale, we wouldn't be worried about having to beat a team that we have zero chance of beating.

It's all relative. I don't miss the 90's when they were dominating us and had a firm lead on the rivalry. I definitely do miss the years where we were playoff mainstays and we would finish off the year with a big (usually win) against them. With a win next week we would take the overall lead in the series against the Tribe which is not a small thing for those who have followed this rivalry for years.

Is y'alls series with W&M tied at the moment? Whoever wins our game saturday will take a 19-18 lead in our series; that'd be a heck of a coincidence.

My comment was more about the intent of the poster and less about the execution of that intent.
Personally if I was going to distinguish between the two programs, I would have said, Yale and lowly Fordham.
