OP, I've missed you all these years but must admit that it feels like you've come back at the 11th hour to piss in the punch bowl right now.

People don't want to hear this. I remember when my son was playing 3 ears ago and after games kids would ask him for his game gloves and then to sign them. He wouldn't do it. I remember asking him why he didn't give his gloves to those kids and he explained that he couldn't get any more gloves unless he wore out his pair and even then he had to turn the old ones in to get a new pair. He had to buy all his own cold weather gear as well. Don't get me wrong, we love Richmond and we are grateful. But whe. It comes to budgets and football investment, we fall short. There are a lot of budget issues many don't know about. And the weight room is a total joke.

One Putt....do you give everyone in your company everything they ask for ......or just need? How much more money should Spider athletics fund Richmond football. I'd like to hear the amount since you know it is underfunded?

There will always be things a Coach would like to have for his team. Lines need to be drawn. I don't know if there isn't a budget set at the beginning and it is left up to the Coach and equipment manager to make decisions. That would seem reasonable to me, does anyone know?

would suggest that if we do not have enough socks or shirts, not the fault of the athletic director but more whoever runs football. sounds like someone is asleep at the wheel, not sure who but everyone has a job, a responsibility and someone did not do their job properly. does not sound like a money prob but an inventory prob, maybe even a pilfering prob.

it sounds like the those who planned the elec shut down did not know that there were going to be people on campus and that the football office did not know there was a planned shut down. not sure who was asleep here but someone was. as indicated earlier, we need E BRUCE back on campus to organize things and get them going in the right direction.

Yeah... That's sort of the first thing you do when you plan an electricity shutdown. It's not just being asleep, but really being negligent.
