I don't think so, but Nigel Pack got two years and $800k from a Miami booster last year. He's basically their third or fourth best player this year.
Ruiz is a different animal. I just don't think many boosters are ponying up that kind of money for hoops players. and specifially not for Ace Baldwin type transfers. he's a very good ballplayer. he's not a 5 star draw. if he can get $100k he should jump on it.
there is money going to football. and to social media influencer types with millions of followers who happen to be athletes ... but that's not booster money.

Did they? What I read said Ruiz told him he doesn't renegotiate deals, and then Wong came out and said he was happy there and that was the end of it.
I agree there aren't many who will. But it only takes one who will, and Baldwin is a high level point guard coming with a lot of experience. Probably not a ton of available guys in that mold with his credentials. I mean hell, Quinn was considered one of the top 5 or 10 big man transfers in the country last year.
agreed, but I doubt anyone was offering Quinn $100k.
I'm just saying if I'm Baldwin I don't spit at that offer if it's real. I grab a pen.
Here is a nice story about Bobby. Close to ten years ago I served on a board with Bobby, along with one of my best friends who had a showing last night for is mom that passed away. Bobby came to the showing. Bobby and my friend are not close friends, but he took the time to come out of respect. He is a complete class act and so is his bother Jim who lived next to another friend of mine before moving to West Minster Canterbury.
He was promised they'd "look" for more money. My guess is they found it, because he didn't leave.
