There are at least 4 at-large teams with 6 D1 wins. Elon is arguably the strongest one.
He really didn't have much success. He had Vad Lee.
0-2 in the playoffs, both at home, both upsets.
0-1 on College GameDay, also at home.
Yeah,and I really miss him and Mickey compared to the current Dillweed skipper.
There did used to be a statement in the playoff bylaws(?), that mentioned something like “less than seven division 1 wins COULD jeopardize playoff selection”. But was never a rule, however I don’t think a 6 win team ever got an at-large in a 16 team field.
I believe the language was dropped when it went to 24 teams.

Reports of Mike Houston leaving JMU for Charlotte. Interesting that the announcement was made during the post-season for JMU
As much as it pains me to compliment UD/DR, it is good to see a leader recognize that something's not working and take decisive action.
