A10 Tourney Matchups

Saw this beginning on another thread and thought it might be good to start a new one.

Who would like the Spiders to matchup with in the A10 tourney and who would you like UR to avoid? Some of this may differ depending as the regular season closes out (i.e. if we lose a game or two down the stretch - we might want a crack at Dayton or URI, etc to try an boost the resume).

Too early to tell. We definitely want to finish second or third. That is a given. If we get to the semi-finals, and need a win, then we want Rhode Island. For a first-round game in the quarters, it would depend on who is hot and who is not. I would not want to run into a six or seven seed in the first round that has won three or four straight games and is playing really well coming into the tourney.

If we get the double bye, then it will be our to lose or win. We will not play in the first of second round with a double bye....Just win and let the chips fall where they may..

A win in Olean would mean a 2 game lead over the Bonnies with the tie breaker.
Duquesne has plenty of chance to lose after tonight, finishing with
at Dayton, at SBU, GMU at home, at VCU, UR at home...

I’d like to see St. Joe’s in our first game, Fordham in our second and LaSalle in the title game.
