Good point. I’d be done with that as well. Admittedly it’s a low bar for me right now but anyone not named Mooney, Huesman or Durden has my vote.

We all focus on the glitzy plays naturally, but found the kickoff stats telling.

Larson 4 kicks for an average of 59.0 yards.
WM kicker 3 kicks for an average of 46.0 yards.

Particularly makes a huge difference in a close game like the one yesterday, but really any game.

For all the criticism of Huesman (much of it deserved), give him credit for recruiting a strong kick off/punt/FG package.

We were very lucky to beat the Tribe with their successful onside kick late in the game.Yale pulled off their onside kick against us and converted it to a TD and W With 9 sec left.

We should begin to learn on how to defend against an onside kick. It’s part of special teams.

Luck had nothing to do with our defense stuffing them on four plays following the onside kick, giving us the victory. Given the very low rate of successful onside kicks, I'd say they were the lucky ones, not us.
