7–0 Spiders and UMass is already replacing their goalie just 12 minutes in. The new guy has only played 8 minutes all season. He has saved all four shots he faced prior to today though!

Still 7–1 at the end of the first. Spiders dominating in all facets of the game, outshooting UMass 12–5, winning 7 of 9 face-offs, forcing a couple of shot-clock violations, and just owning possession.

Spiders bring on the subs in the fourth and slow things down, and they finish out the 14–4 win. Job done, leaving no doubt from the get-go. Now sit back and find out who we play in the final.

Not sure who I'd rather see us face. St. Joe's has more national respect and so would give us more wiggle room for a potential at-large should we lose, but if High Point is an easier opponent based on our regular-season meeting with the two teams, that's an easier path.

High Point has scored three goals in the first four minutes of the second half to open up a 9–5 lead. They're really dominating the Hawks in pretty much every way.
High Point it is. This will be a very tough game on Saturday. Even though we have a 15-4 record against them, do not let that fool you. They will play very motivated and very tough this game and we have to match that energy. Their FOGO is going to be a huge problem for us. This will be our 6th(!) conference championship game against them and almost all of them have been close. We have a 3-2 record against them in championship games. Fun fact, we have played (and beaten) High Point in 3 different conference championships (ASun, SoCon, A10). They have beaten us twice in SoCon. This game should be high energy and a great one. Hopefully the bad weather stays away long enough.

I hope we’re seeded but unfortunately I don’t think the committee will do that. Had we beaten either Duke or Cornell than absolutely. I just hope they don’t screw us by giving us an opponent against a higher seed for the sake of closer travel. We should not be playing a team any lower than a 7 seed in the first round.

- Significant wins and losses (wins against teams ranked higher in the RPI and losses against teams ranked lower in the RPI).
- Locations of contests.
• Input from the regional advisory committee (comprised of lacrosse coaches from all AQ conferences).
