2025 MLAX Schedule

They scored 2 goals after that timeout. Transition is also a problem, but we have 3 shots in the first quarter. The last one was had no chance with two defenders just waiting to crush our guy at top. Even when we get the ball up, there is little movement from the offense. Its not even that UNC is physically bigger, just looks like our guys are going through the motions. Were being outcoached and played currently.
We’re really not doing anything right other than defense/goalie right now. Tough to watch. I wonder how much the pressure of expectations is getting to the guys.

Ok now were on the board. We really need to get some more transition opportunities because UNC is packing it in on defense. Lets see if that goal eases the pressure. Just look so tense and unimaginitive.

5-2 at half. Lucky to only be down 3 after the worst half of Richmond lacrosse since the first game against Maryland this year. This is playoff lacrosse. We can’t lose playing uninspired. Got to turn things around.

How sweet it is! All time we have played UNC 7 times and won 3 with this being the best win! Cornell game (or possibly Albany although not likely) should be very exciting as the toughest games Cornell has had all season was their one loss and their come from behind one point win over us. We are definitely one of the premier men's college lacrosse teams in the country. Very happy for Chemotti and did not realize his black eye was due to the celebration after the A-10 championship win over High Point!

Far and away the best coach in our athletic department. Not even close.

Lucas LittleJohn with 2:00 remaining handled the ball from the corner end line.

He was intentionally undercut by the Heel defender and still was able to control the ball with a double team.Could have been seriously injured. One tough MF.

NO CALL.

Very dangerous play and very obvious non call which Quint referenced. The ending of lacrosse games are a dangerous time as the losing team can start going all out with risky play. Literally increases the danger when refs do not make those calls. Littlejohn had as many as four players going after the ball which in essence was going after him. He was resilient, tenacious, and ended up being the MVP of the game, a well deserved honor.

Rough day in the Triangle...Georgetown looking to hang on against Duke, up 15–10 with 5 minutes to go. Duke going empty net.

Edit: Duke gets one back. 4:49 to play. Georgetown incredibly not running clock with possession and keeps giving the ball back.

Edit 2: Hoyas take the 16–12 victory.

Paul Richards hopefully makes close to Dan’s salary because his coaching-recruiting the defense has contributed to the major success of our program for a number of years.
We are nationally recognized for our stalwart defense.
I’ve thought about that before. It must be the case. It’s clear the two have a very strong bond and loyalty to each other and our program. Chemotti could’ve gone to a power program and I’m sure Richards has been looked at for head coaching positions at lower tier programs. I hope Chemotti stays the coach at UR for the rest of his career but if he does leave for Duke when Danowski retires, the search for the next head coach should be the quickest one ever, which is going down the hall and telling Richards he has the job.

To put some numbers on this, in the three losses the D gave up 13 goals once (in double OT) and 12 in the other two. That's pretty stingy especially considering the quality of those opponents.
