2025 Conference Predictions

4–14 was my thought before even opening the thread. Just like a good team always loses some you don't expect, a bad team wins some you don't expect.

Torvik predictions also have us going 4–14, though an underdog in every game (Fordham game 50/50 but Rams favored by 0.1 point).

I didn't bother paying for KenPom this season.

I'm actually not optimistic at all, I just know how this story goes. We should win about 1 or 2 conference games, but things usually even out somehow. At this point, I'm rooting for 0-18.

He had us favored by 1 tonight, Dukes, & Fordham.

After tonight’s performance underdogs through out A10, but still 4-14

SLU 43%, Dukes 46% and Fordham 48% as 3 most likely…

Winless is a real possibility. For the future we likely have no current roster member (other than a couple of seniors ) who likely could start next year for any other conference team). Hardt better start identifying candidates to replace Mooney in a year or two. Mooney’s version of the Princeton offense won’t work in the world of the transfer portal.

UR just won 3 D1 games vs the most cream puff OOC schedule that UR has had since joining the A10, but somehow they're going to win 4 games in the A10, with half the 18 being on the road? Give me the under on that one.

1-17.

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

7-11. Don't ask me how.
Exactly like 2 seasons ago. I had the same feeling about a month ago, but seeing the last couple games I am thinking 5 wins is more likely. Even in the best case scenario, we are talking about a below .500 record in conference, which is underperformance by all UR metrics.

So we have two out of three years of underperformance with one “surprise” year in the middle. Definitely not building a program and instead a rolling of dice in portal pickups.
