Big win over an opponent that is much better than their record. We weren’t perfect by any means but both sides of the ball made plays when it mattered. Fourth game in a row with no turnovers by the Spiders. Towson with 3 yesterday…difference in the game.

I really like this team can win with many different formulas. We don't have to just win with D, or in air, or on ground.
Diffidently a bend don’t break mentality and with Coleman’s steady improvement on offense, this offense has yet
to play its best game. We need some of the injured to get well, but impressed with some of the frosh playing. How about
that Aussie punter and that Irish kicker!

Agreed, Towson looked like the better team for a decent portion of the game but we were very opportunistic and won comfortably in the end. The Spiders are a fun team to watch this Fall.

I really like running back ZPS. He does a great job of always going forward and getting an extra yard or two. not a lot of "dancing" or negative plays.

Anyone know if Traynor come back into the game after the big hit on which he was clearly dazed in the 1st half?

I saw him go into the tent and then again outside on the sidelines, but missed whether he returned to the field.

Go Spiders!

Back on the Left Coast after a great homecoming. Tremendous weather, catching up with fraternity brothers I first met 50 years ago, and a super day for a game and a big win. Campus is so beautiful in the fall, hit a few of the old stomping grounds, and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Phil’s, Julian’s Pizza, etc….

Bernie's and Phil's. Somehow missed out on Villa Pizza and bumping to the AWB at the Pass.

The Pikes are back on campus, in the old Phi Delt house. The Delts have moved down OFR into the old Fiji house, and apparently the Fijis have moved into a new lodge on NFR. The old SAE house is now a university building; the SPE's were the only ones on OFR in the same place from my era.

To those who disparage him, President Hallock was at the Pike tailgater on Saturday and the movers and shakers from our end said we would not be back on campus without his support. I heard through the grapevine the Phi Kaps are also looking to reorganize and return to campus.

Sounds like a great trip back. Bernie's and Phil's must have been memory lane visits, but suspect you were disappointed that the Tempo Room is no longer open. ;)

Don't think I made it there. There was a bar at the little plaza at the NE corner of Patterson and Parham we sometimes frequented and also a bar on the north side of Patterson down by Libbie where a one-man band named Oldy B Goldy often played.

It was a great trip. We have a beautiful university.
