Did you see the rushed shank by Breckenridge? Nobody was within 30 yards...Looked like a baby backed pansy.

Please please recruit another punter, this guy has been horrible all year. Even after dropping the ball, there wasn't anyone within 15 yards of him, they weren't even rushing. How many fumbled snaps and blocked kicks so far?
If we don't have a backup punter, keep going for it on 4th down, it couldn't be much worse.

I'm glad I'm home sick today, at least I can turn the tv off. Will check back here in a couple hours to see what the final score was

We have that guy a full ride. He’s taking up a roster spot for 3 more years. Let’s not waste any more scholarships there. I think this is maybe the 3rd or 4th example of just because you give a guy a scholarship out of HS doesn’t mean he’s going to be any good.
If I had to bet the ranch, I'd say both stay to end of contracts. We'll see w/in the next year how Hardt performs as an AD given where both programs are and what his perception of the leadership of both football & basketball.
I was wrong. Huesman and staff must go. If AD waits will take 5-6 years to recover. Russ ain't got it. Players have bailed. No redshirt seniors will return n transfers will be many. Base upon the skipper of the ship, all I can say is I hope you're right but wouldn't get ahead of myself if I were you.
So are you implying that we could get a better punter if we DON'T offer a scholarship? Don't we (and everybody else) have misses at EVERY position? I have argued that kickers and punters are much more valuable than probably all other positions other than quarterback. They have the ability to turn games around, win or lose. And at least on our level, we don't have the luxury of depth. Look, if we miss on a defensive back, we've got 7 or 8 others. And the reason we have that many is because we know that some may not develop or contribute.
With kickers and punters we have to get it right and get people who, if they aren't going to excel, then at least hold there own. We must always have scholarships available for these guys. And are we obligated to 4 years if someone doesn't perform? I thought scholarships server year to year.
I’m just saying that I don’t think we can afford to tie up 3 or 4 scholarships on kickers when we only have 63 to go around. And that “just give an offer” isn’t the right approach. When was the last guy we gave an offer to out of HS a success?
