We were not playing the Sister's of the Poor....I feel pretty sure that we will steadily improve. Colgate had a extra week to prepare us after being off a week.

Heusman gives great interviews.......................Any parent would be happy to have a coach like him coaching their son.....................

Apparently Trau is on a short leash based on Coach's comments post game. Hopefully he has got all his misses out in the 1st 2 games.

I think Russ was just frustrated. He's 0 for 5 on 4th down tries and when he finally goes for fg, Trau misses. The one at SHSU hit the upright, the one at Colgate was a bad miss. I'm betting Russ will still try on 4th down, although he said he wouldn't, and Trau may miss another fg without getting pulled.

I like that Trau didn't hang his head, he went to the coach and told him he wouldn't miss again. You've got to like that kind of confidence in your kicker. I'd bet that if Russ had been our coach last year and witnessed the reliable, confident, All American, game after game; Trau would not be anywhere near a short leash.

Think the difference is the poor contact. I like that we have a backup option. If you can't hit it clean than you're headed to the bench. Accountability at all positions is a good thing.

Colgate currently losing to winless Furman, 31-0. Early in the second quarter.

Isn't Holland out and 2 to 4 defensive starters for Colgate?
