2016 Richmond Spiders Football - Prologue - Elon

Due to circumstances beyond my control there will be no video edition of Prologue this week

However, here's a condensed version of what would have been said:

Yes, like many others have said I do believe the Elon game fits the classic definition of a "trap" game..

But just because it's a "trap" doesn't mean the Spiders get caught...

Since Stony Brook Richmond has shown a tremendous "will to win" which Coach Rocco has commented on often...Saturday against Nova we finally saw this powerful emotion combined with outstanding execution...it yielded our best CAA win of the season...

The team knows well what they will be facing against the Fighting Christians...a fired up, well rested and more healthy team with an extra week of preparation.,.all of this is front of a no doubt raucous Homecoming crowd anxious for a giant upset...

But you know what? The Fighting Christians may have the perfect "trap" but the Spiders don't fall victim this time!

It's great to see all of the Spider Gang predictors back on the Spiders bandwagon this week.

Here are their predictions in the order of the Contest standings after Game Seven:

Those JMU fans never cease to amaze me. One lady in JMU shirt before Elon game starts talking smack and I had to ask her if she forget last year's game. If so told her repeat would be in two weeks. Then after game today two other puke fans start talking about what we had coming in two weeks. First week in November will be a great game. All Spider fans need to be ready to represent. This will be a huge game with big consequences in regards to our ultimate goal. Let's be loud and proud!
