2016 LB Thomas Dunn has verbally committed to the University of Richmond. “TJ” had offers from Liberty, North Carolina Central, VMI, and Hampton along with the Richmond offer.
TJ is the fourth Benedictine football player from the class of 2016 to verbally commit to a Division 1 college joining Athlete/Wide Receiver Scott Bracey (Duke), WR/KR Donaven Tennyson (Vanderbilt), and S/LB Parrish Gordon (Old Dominion).
TJ was selected All-State at LB following the 2014 season in which he had 85 total tackles, 40 solo tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 3 interceptions one of which he returned for a touchdown.
