AP polls heavily favoring power conference teams. Northern Iowa beat Iowa State who was #8 at the time, is 4-1 with only loss to a very good Ball State (4-1 with only loss to UNC) and didn’t get any votes in AP poll.

The Spider women drop from 8 votes to 5 in the AP poll this week, good for 32nd. Tennessee checks in at #18 (up from #19 last week thanks to UNC loss), while Alabama is just outside the top 25 in 26th.

Texas is a 1-seed, Tennessee is a 4-seed, Alabama is a 9-seed, and Oklahoma State is a 10-seed.
