Based on a Twitter pic the team posted, I'd be surprised if Alston is back for this game. She was not dressed in a practice uniform as the rest of the team was.

What a fantastic win! Spiders beat a Fairfield team - who beat Arkansas by 14 and who had 11 votes in AP poll - 62-39. Combination of great defense and Fairfield having an off shooting night. Incredible start to the season with wins at Temple and at Fairfield. Likely 2 Q2 games, maybe Q1 with Fairfield. Also the fact that we’ve done it without Alston makes it even more impressive. I sound like a broken record, but Roussell is an amazing coach. I hope we’re giving him all the resources he wants and needs.

Definitely picked up where they left off last year, but seem like a deeper team. Watched the second half and those girls were hustling even when up 20+. Sign of good coaching.

Completely agree. The fact they won the A-10 last year lost a good chunk of that team and then they were picked number 1 again this year, told me something. But seeing these first 3 games without one of their best players, absolutely curb stomping team and good Fairfield team, which followed up a beat down Morgan State by 54. You don't have results like that unless you have the potential to be dominant.
They have Number 4 Texas coming to the Robins Center on December 15th. I've already marked that game on my calendar as a must see.
The ceiling for the women’s program is high. Let’s show our support.
