43–38 Spiders at the break. Columbia pressuring quite a bit and getting out well on our shooters to keep it close.

Spiders clinging to a 60–56 lead through three. Roussell not happy with several calls including a flagrant on Budnik early in the quarter that gave the Lions shots and the ball, and some loose ball situations that all seemed to go Columbia’s way. Still in the lead though!

Columbia stayed scrappy down the stretch, but Spiders get the 85–76 win.

2–1 in the first half of this gauntlet is solid, though would have loved to have the G’town game as well. Really tough three games coming up. Even winning just one would be great.
