Watched a good amount of the Tribe v Pukes game at the CAA today. Incredible perspective on our own troubles by watching an underfunded team with no tradition that plays in a crap facility in a crap conference. They played together, shot well, went something like 17-19 from the FT line and found a body to box out for rebounds.

It just doesn't have to be as difficult as we are making things for ourselves.

I've watched a few of their games on TV this year. They play the Princeton style offense better than we do, and Shaver is a Tar Heel protege. Shaver has done way more with less down there.

Absolutely would. And she's intense, which is something we clearly need on the bench. She knows more about basketball than almost anyone.

No way she would take a college job though. Think she wants to be the first female NBA coach and she would be a great one.

She wouldn't need to rebound. It's not part of the system. Rebounds don't matter. 3 point shots matter.
I bet Nancy could get the boys to pay attention to what she says after winning a couple of national championships and a Silver medal in the Olympics. She would be an awesome coach while grooming TJ to take over someday.

Totally with you. That would be great for our program!!!!!!!!!!

Looks and sounds like roughly 1000 Indians traveled to Baltimore to support their club. Remember the old days when we did stuff like that in AC? It's been awhile.

Exactly, no one wants to go to Philly, Ny or Ohio for a weekend game in the winter.

I actually think alot of people would travel to the A10 tourney if they had any confidence whatsoever that we'd play multiple games.

2014 recruiting year. We go out to Wisconsin to reel in Diekvoss and to Canada to land Smithen. William and Mary goes to Alexandria, VA to find 6'5" SF Greg Malinowski, who is currently shredding the nets against Hofstra as a sophomore.
Agree Mo, we seem to have a wide search net but it has tons of holes in it. Glad we looked closer to home this year.

Indians fall to Dutchmen. Good game. Another year of no NCAA for the Indians. Perhaps they see Tech in the NIT.

Actually, after reading interviews of next year's recruits, it sounds like they weren't recruited as much, as they already had chosen to come to UR.

I agree CM has seemed disinterested this year. I don't see him being fired, for one bad season. I consider last year, a successful season.

But, I'd raise another possibility. Maybe, he'll resign. With a million a year, who would? But he should be financially independent, and should be able to make a nice living doing some other things. This job may be becoming too stressful for him.

If he's staying, I hope he will do a better job filling in our vacant spots, than he's done the past couple of years.

Of course it won't happen, but I do think that if Mooney were to leave or be fired, we would likely keep at least 2 of or incoming recruits, for the reason you stated.

Indians v Joe Mihalic's Hofstra team in the CAA semi on NBCSN right now.
I was going to watch that game but the FIOS guide said they were rebroadcasting all the quarterfinal games instead of showing the semifinals.

I had a Bill and Mary fan tell me they have the nations longest streak of no NCAA appearances. Tough loss
