guessing we want UNI for another home game? What are the odds of that happening? The way we're playing I don't care who, kind of want to see how we would fare in the Fargo Dome.

most definitely want uni in a home game as opposed to traveling to that dome which has served as the catalyst for all of their national championships.

We need a poll for this no brainer? Let's see, the 4 time defending national champion at their place where they almost never lose, or playing at home against an unseeded opponent?
Hummm.... let me think about this

Yeah, a more interesting question is which day do we play. Primetime is always fun, but the extra day of rest would be nice.

Stonewall, you have turned into quite the defeatist. You predicted a 49-17 ISU victory on their board. Come on man!

Watching UNI-NDSU game. I'm sure a lot of you can provide better x and o commentary, but neither so far look like juggernauts. Run first for both and defenses are winning the battle. What you'd expect, though, with conference opponents playing at this level. Think our offense can put up big points on either and believe our D can stop the run.

Agreed. I feel pretty decent about our odds, regardless of who we play. We'll have an extra day of rest, which should count for a little something, too.

Edit: Carson Wentz, the NDSU QB who was injured early in the year, may well play next week. There was a chance he'd play today, but that hasn't happened. But he's pretty damn legit. Another reason to want to play UNI at home.

That Fargodome is an advantage. Hard to get to, hostile atmosphere. Watching this game, I hate the Green and Yellow team already. Pretentiousness abounds there.

Either UNI is inept on offense or NDSU is stuffing them on D. Defensive battle it seems

Feel like UNI hanging around cmon get something going they have been given too many chances

Will be a tough place to play if the game holds up. Would have to take the crowd out of it early

NDSU is OL is beating the UNI DL on almost every play they look very good

NDSU QB throws almost every pass short so the receiver has to come back, seems to me the off back should be able to pick off one or more

Colgate is getting crushed by SHSU. Looks like it's going to be 3 regional universities and us in the semis.

NDSU punter is great
Yes, he really kept UNI pinned deep, particularly 2H. But don't give Bison all the credit - UNI was inept on O and couldn't move the ball. Will be very different game next week against our O and think Spider D will be ready to shut them down.

Fans are saying they were told the game would be Friday night, and rumor is they will have their first string QB back

To answer the original question, we can beat The Bizon but we wanted UNI. the Panthers were ridiculously one dimensionAl on offense and Farley can't coach a big game.

The Fargo dome is very loud. Much louder than JMU.

Could be right but I would think JSU would get first shake as 1st seed and they should want Sammy State on Friday night for a short week.

As they say; You have to beat the Camp to be the champ. Go Spiders

Return of the Giant Killers?

NDSU is well-balanced, strong up front on both sides of the ball, and has speed on offense and a terrific punter. And we are playing them in their famous Dome, where College Gameday has broadcast twice. A victory would be a HUGE boost for our program. If we can protect against the big plays early, we can win this thing. Go Spiders!
